Why me?
For more than two decades, I have been in the trenches of non-profits serving all kinds of organizations; from large cultural institutions, to local branches of national non-profit, to scrappy, community based organizations thriving on willpower and duct tape. I have been at the bottom of the ladder, the mid-level manager, and the top executive. I have also served on Boards of Directors and served as an Officer on the Board. If there is a challenge you are having, chances are – I’ve been through it.
With consultants on every corner, why would you choose me? First, I would say there are never going to be enough consultants to help the amount of non-profits who need them. All have special expertise and fresh viewpoints to offer. My only suggestion to anyone considering hiring a consultant is to understand what you need first, then decide if your consultant understands that before you move forward.
My approach is a little different, in that I am looking for the opportunity to customize your experience. I don’t have a set menu of options, but can help with everything from board orientations, trainings, and strategic planning, to executive coaching and training, to assistance with fundraising, development, communications strategy and more.
Most importantly, I am willing to help the small organizations who need it the most. For organizations with smaller budgets, consulting fees will be scaled to support where you are.
